Job summary

Quincy Medical Group in Hannibal, Missouri, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative physician-led team in a full-scope primary care setting. You’ll work 4.5 days per week with no weekends or evenings, building 1:1 relationships with physicians and clinical staff while practicing at the top of your license.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school for Nurse Practitioners OR Physician Assistant-Master’s Degree
• Licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Missouri
• Previous Experience (1+ years as practicing APP) in primary care or similar setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care within a detailed scope of practice under supervision
• Complete physicals and order diagnostic/therapeutic modalities (labs, x-ray, EKG, etc.)
• Perform therapeutic procedures (injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, infection management) and prescribe medications
• Educate patients and families and document progress notes in the chart
