Job summary

Ascension's Williamsport Primary Care in Williamsport, IN is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for a full-time, Monday–Friday role in a busy community practice.

As part of a nonprofit health system, you will provide comprehensive primary care to families, hold prescriptive authority, and use Sunrise and Athena EMR to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• MSN required for Advanced Practice Provider
• Prescriptive authority credential in Indiana required within 6 months of hire
• Indiana RN license required before hire date

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to families in a busy, community-based practice.
• Utilize Sunrise and Athena EMR systems to document and coordinate care.
• Work a Monday–Friday schedule as part of an employed, nonprofit health system

• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Practice Setting: Primary Care practice
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Advanced Practice Provider
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Access to 3 dedicated exam rooms per provider and dual Sunrise and Athena EMR systems
• Drive clinical excellence by delivering comprehensive, mission-centered primary care to families within the local community

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
