Job summary

Sanitas seeks a Nurse Practitioner for outpatient primary care in Phoenix, AZ. The role reports to the Medical Director and covers comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and health maintenance for patients.

Requires a Master’s in Nursing, 3+ years of primary care experience, and active NP license with DEA; BLS and ACLS are required. Proficiency in English is essential; Spanish and Creole are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from accredited nursing program.
• 3+ years of experience in primary care.
• Valid state Nurse Practitioner license; DEA certificate; NP certification (ANCC/AANP) as FNP or Adult Gerontology NP.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform physical examinations.
• Diagnose and direct treatment plans for patients.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state statute and practice guidelines.
• Ensure continuity of care and maintain comprehensive health records.
• Provide high-quality patient service via various communication modes.
• Collaborate with physicians and supervise mid-level practitioners as appropriate.
