Job summary

Sanitas is expanding across the United States and seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver outpatient primary care services at our Phoenix Medical Centers. The APRN will collaborate with the Medical Director and other staff to provide comprehensive care, disease prevention, and health maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a strong knowledge of primary care, privacy policies, and state/federal regulations. Travel is up to 5% as needed; the center emphasizes compassionate, high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Masters Degree from accredited Nursing Program.
• 3+ years in Primary Care.
• Valid State Nurse Practitioner License.
• Current State D.E.A. Certificate.
• Certification by ANCC or AANP as a Family or Adult Gerontology NP.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform physical examinations.
• Diagnose and direct counseling for each patient on a treatment plan.
• Prescribe medication per state statute and practice guidelines.
• Maintain patient health records per center policies.
• Ensure continuity of care via timely medical services.
• Provide excellent patient and staff service via multiple channels.
• Refer to specialists as needed and coordinate referrals.
• Review lab/ECG/x-ray reports and follow up accordingly.
