Job summary

Prosperity Placement Solutions seeks a Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, outpatient primary care role in Anchorage, Alaska. The NP will join a collaborative team focused on preventive medicine and long-term patient outcomes, with a health coach and onsite lab/pharmacy support.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP program.
• Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active, unrestricted Alaska Nurse Practitioner/APRN license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Minimum of 3 years of primary care experience.
• Current DEA registration.
• Negative TB test within 12 months of start date.
• Experience working in a team-based care environment.
• Experience with Athena EMR preferred.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage and HCC coding preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult patients.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Focus on preventive medicine, wellness, and long-term health.
• Develop personalized treatment plans using a whole-person approach.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, including Health Coaches.
• Perform physical examinations and order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing.
• Manage medications and chronic conditions.
• Utilize onsite laboratory and pharmacy services to streamline patient care.
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement programs.
• Engage patients in wellness visits and preventive screenings.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Participate in provider meetings, committees, and process improvement.
