Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient primary care team. The position offers full-time hours, sign-on bonus opportunities, and a collaborative health system focused on evidence-based care.

You will provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, and work with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans while maintaining EMR

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board certified in FNP or ANP.
• Active or eligible Maine NP licensure.
• DEA certification or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope primary care across the lifespan.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform preventive care and health screenings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Educate patients on wellness and disease management.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR.
