Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient primary care team in Topsham, Maine. You will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care within a collaborative health system committed to improving community health.

This full-time role offers competitive compensation ($125,000–$144,000), a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, excellent benefits, CME allowance, and loan repayment and relocation options as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Board Certified (FNP or ANP).
  • Active or eligible for Maine NP licensure.
  • DEA certification (or eligible).
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope primary care across the lifespan.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
  • Perform preventive care and health screenings.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Educate patients on wellness and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR.

About Us

Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $125,000 to $144,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
