Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME seeks a dedicated Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient primary care team. You will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care within a collaborative health system.

Responsibilities include full-scope primary care, managing acute and chronic conditions, preventive care, and education of patients. PSLF eligibility may apply for nonprofit employment; visa sponsorship considered case-by-case.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board Certified (FNP or ANP).
• Active or eligible for Maine NP licensure.
• DEA certification (or eligible).
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope primary care across the lifespan.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform preventive care and health screenings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.

Overview

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Central Maine Medical Center Lewiston, Maine Position Summary Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established outpatient primary care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care within a collaborative health system committed to improving the health of our communities.

• Employment with a nonprofit healthcare organization may provide eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program for qualified physicians.*


• J-1 visa sponsorship and/or J-1 waiver sponsorship may be available on a case-by-case basis for qualified candidates.**
