Job summary

Valor Healthcare seeks a passionate Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join the CBOC in Dickinson, ND on a PRN basis. You will diagnose and treat veterans under supervision, develop care plans, and coordinate diagnostic tests and follow-up in a veteran-focused setting.

The role requires MSN and CRNP certification, VA credentialing readiness, and current BLS/ACLS and DEA registrations. You will work within VA guidelines, support enrollment initiatives, and maintain high patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Must have MSN and CRNP certification with preceptorship.
• Certification by applicable professional organization.
• Minimum one-year CRNP experience; government healthcare preferred.
• Must be credentialed and licensed in the state of employment.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Current DEA registration.
• Proficiency in spoken/written English.
• Strong computer skills.
• Energetic and optimistic demeanor.
• Safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat veterans under supervising physician.
• Examine patients for symptoms of disorders.
• Develop and implement patient management plans; ensure continuity of care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; provide results and follow-up.
• Counsel on medications, educate patients, assess mental health, health maintenance.
• Coordinate with other providers per VA rules for co-managed care.
• Complete clinical reminders and chart documentation within 24 hours.
• Follow VA guidelines, formulary processes, and documentation standards.
• Support clinic outreach and patient enrollment initiatives.
• Assist with scheduling and patient follow-up guidance.
• Embrace new clinical or operational initiatives.
