Job summary

Community Health Center of Lubbock, Inc. seeks an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide preventive and primary care within a ambulatory setting as part of a health care team. You will collaborate with physicians, perform exams, and order tests while documenting histories.

Minimum requirements include TX RN licensure, a BSN or higher, and a certified post-graduate NP program; DEA and BLS are required. Some weekend/evening work and on-call duties apply; vaccination is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an RN in Texas with a BSN or higher degree.
• Successful completion of a certified post-graduate NP program.
• DEA license and BLS current.
• Experience preferred but new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and primary care as part of a care team.
• Perform initial exams, physicals, and patient observations.
• Set up and monitor medical equipment; order and review tests.
• Communicate results to patients and families; document histories.
