UMC Health System in Lubbock, Texas, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (AP/NP) for the Emergency Center on a PRN varied hours schedule. The role focuses on patient assessment, planning and implementation of care under supervision of the Medical Director and Nurse Director.

Graduate of an accredited Masters program; Texas licensure eligibility and NP Family Practice certification are required. Strong clinical, triage and coordination skills are essential to support safe, high-quality patient

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Masters Level Program for Advanced Practice Provider or Nurse Practitioner.
• Critical care and/or emergency center experience desired.
• Texas licensure or eligibility as PA or NP.

Responsabilidades

• Under the direction of the department Medical Director and Nurse Director or supervising physician, assess patient needs and assist in planning and implementing patient care.
• Provide patient and family support, coordinate care and education.
• Be familiar with the hospital's mission, vision, philosophy, policies and procedures, and comply with them.
