Job summary

Park Nicollet Health Services is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the Primary Care Frontline team. The role focuses on answering calls, greeting patients, collecting co-pays, and scheduling follow-ups in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, maintaining patient confidentiality, and supporting clerical tasks while adapting to department changes. Monday–Friday day shift with some Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 months related experience.
• Accurate computer/keyboard skills required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
• Proficient in operation of telephone and headsets, PC, printer, photo copier and fax machine.

Responsibilities

• Answer and respond to incoming telephone calls from patients and employer groups.
• Greet patients, collect co-pays, schedule follow-up appointments and referrals and support clerical duties.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.
• Support on-going process improvements and adapt to department/organization changes.
