Mercy is hiring a Primary Care Patient Care Medical Assistant in Fort Smith, AR. Under the direction of the primary care operations team, you will support Mercy Providers to deliver safe, timely, and patient-centered care in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.
New hires will attend the MA Clinic Academy training and work as part of a collaborative care team, focusing on quality outcomes and excellent patient service. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic.
