Job summary

Mercy’s Primary Care Medical Assistant works with Primary Care Providers to deliver patient-centered care. You will partner with patients and the care team to drive quality outcomes in a collaborative setting.

This role requires a high school diploma and/or MA program completion, with a preference for 1 year of relevant experience and completion of the MA Clinic Academy training. Mercy offers strong benefits and a team-focused environment.

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program

Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic

New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training
