The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be BLS certified within 30 days of hire, and hold CMA certification. One year of healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Current CMA certification is required.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greets and escorts patients to exam rooms and collects initial information and vitals.
• Prepares exam rooms ensuring cleanliness and supplies are ready.
• Assists with and/or performs exams, tests, and procedures.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates referrals as needed.
• Assists providers during examinations and procedures.
• Educates patients on follow-up expectations.
• Maintains quality control testing logs as required.
• Ensures medical equipment is in proper working condition.
• Assists patients with completion of medical documentation.
