Job summary

Trinity Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a collaborative clinic team and deliver high-quality patient care. You will prepare exam rooms, take vitals, and assist with procedures in a patient-centered environment.

Requirements include a Medical Assistant program or externship (or 2+ years current clinical experience), CPR certification, and a high school diploma. CMA/RMA/AMT qualifications are a plus. The role is full-time, day shift, in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Graduated of a Medical Assistant Clinical Training Program or Externship program or 2+ years of current, clinically relevant experience.
• Preferred: RMA, AAMA, AMT, or CMA registration or certification
• Medical Terminology
• Current American Heart Association BCLS / CPR Certification
• Completion of High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Room set up and patient preparation
• Taking vitals
• Drawing blood and giving injections and immunizations
• Performing office tests (Point of Care Testing)
• Administrative duties
• May perform or assist with in-office procedures / treatments

Requirements for working as a Medical Assistants, MA
