Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time day shift. You will work under the supervision of a licensed clinician in a clinic setting and help ensure efficient, patient-centered visits.

The role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing blood, injections, and basic office testing, with a focus on compassionate care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Medical Terminology knowledge is required.
• Current American Heart Association BCLS/CPR certification is required.
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant Clinical Training Program or externship, or 2+ years of clinically relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Room setup and patient preparation; taking vitals.
• Drawing blood and giving injections and immunizations.
• Performing office tests (Point of Care Testing) and administrative duties.
• Assist with in-office procedures or treatments.

Requirements for working as a Medical Assistants, MA

• Graduated of a Medical Assistant Clinical Training Program or Externship program or 2 or more years of current, clinically relevant experience.
• Preferred: RMA, AAMA, AMT, or CMA registration or certification.
• Medical Terminology.
• Current American Heart Association BCLS / CPR Certification.
• Completion of High School Diploma or GED.

What Medical Assistants, MAs will do:

• Room set up and patient preparation Taking vitals Drawing blood and giving injections and immunizations.
• Performing office tests (Point of Care Testing) Administrative duties May perform or assisting with in-office procedures / treatments.
