Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at PeopleOne Health provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a physician or nurse, in a value-based primary care setting.

Responsibilities span front-office and back-office tasks, patient education, medication administration, specimen collection, and care coordination to ensure efficient clinical workflows and an exceptional patient experience. Florida LPN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Current Basic Life Support/AED certification from an AHA-accredited provider.
• Must maintain all continuing education requirements required by Florida Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a physician or nurse.
• Supports providers with patient education, medication administration, specimen collection, and care coordination.
• Performs front-office tasks: answering calls, scheduling appointments, and coordinating referrals.
• Performs back-office functions: vital signs, examinations support, venipuncture, specimens processing, and point-of-care testing.
• Documents patient care and communications in the EMR; maintains HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
