Job summary

The Staff Pad partners with Lawrence family medicine to recruit a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their Primary Care Office. This full-time, on-site role focuses on patient-centered care, immunizations, and chronic disease management within a collaborative team.

We seek an LPN with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication, and organization. Experience with AthenaHealth is a plus, and Spanish bilingual abilities are valued.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts LPN license required.
• 2+ years of nursing experience; primary care preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• AthenaHealth experience preferred.
• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and basic wound care under supervision.
• Prepare and administer immunizations across all ages.
• Educate patients on chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension).
• Triage calls and address clinical concerns.
• Support care coordination and positive patient outcomes.
• Obtain vital signs, reconcile medications, and maintain records in Athena.
• Perform in-office procedures (EKG, strep/flu/COVID testing, ear lavage).
• Manage lab samples and documentation.
