Job summary

Providence Community Health Centers is seeking an Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician to join the primary care clinic team. You will assess patients with behavioral health or substance use concerns and deliver brief treatment within the fast-paced clinical setting, enhancing care at the front line.

The role supports care for patients with chronic medical conditions impacted by lifestyle factors, collaborating with clinicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in social work from an accredited college or university.
• Experience or internship in a medical setting with primary care integration preferred.
• Commitment to working in community health with high-risk, uninsured, diverse populations.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in providing managed care patient services.
• Proven writing skills to document medical records and submissions.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to multi-task and manage concurrent situations.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and information privacy/security laws.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Full-time 40-hour schedule (part-time may be available).

Responsibilities

• Assess individuals with behavioral health and/or substance abuse issues within primary care.
• Provide brief treatment services within the clinical setting.
• Collaborate with the care team to address chronic medical issues influenced by lifestyle factors.
