Qualifications

• Licensed in Rhode Island as LICSW, LMHC, or clinical psychologist with good standing.
• Experience in behavioral health within medical or pediatric settings.
• Ability to provide telemedicine and in-person services with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with primary care teams to recognize and manage mental health issues.
• Triages referrals and provides brief treatment or directs to appropriate resources.
• Delivers crisis intervention and ongoing psycho-social support.
• Consults in real time to determine level of care for patients.
• Provides care in person, by telephone, or via telemedicine; develops relapse prevention plans.
• Assists patients in navigating healthcare systems and coordinates with external services.
• Participates in interdisciplinary care conferences focused on behavioral and social needs.
