Job summary

Mercy Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant under the direction of the primary care operations team to support safe, timely, patient-centered care. You will work with Mercy Primary Care Providers to assist with a range of clinical duties and to help drive quality outcomes for patients.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program; Experience Preferred: One year of patient care or medical office experience; New hire

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program

Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic

New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training
