Job summary

Mobile Medical seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver in-home primary care in Jacksonville, FL. This role focuses on compassionate, patient-centered evaluations and treatments in patients’ homes.

You will perform comprehensive exams, order tests, interpret results, diagnose conditions, and prescribe appropriate therapies while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an Adult, Family, or Geriatric Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current National Board Certification and active Florida APRN license.
• Professional liability insurance is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home medical evaluations and provide patient care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (blood work, imaging).

Your Role as a Mobile Medical Nurse Practitioner

As a Nurse Practitioner with Mobile Medical, you will provide in-home medical care and evaluations to patients, ensuring they receive the attention and treatment they need to improve their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and provide in-home patient care.
• Examine patients and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work and X-rays.
• Diagnose health conditions and recommend appropriate treatments for chronic and acute conditions.
• Prescribe medications and educate patients and their families on diseases, prevention, and overall health management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an Adult, Family, or Geriatric Nurse Practitioner program
• Current National Board Certification
• Active Florida APRN license
• Professional liability insurance
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in clinical settings such as a medical clinic, hospital, or ER.
• Expertise in primary, acute, and chronic care practices.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and evidence-based care practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients.
