Job summary
OSF HealthCare in Illinois is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established Primary Care practice. You will perform patient assessment, assign diagnoses, establish plans of care, and implement interventions in line with care paths and current research.
Clinic hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with excellent work/life balance and no on-call or weekends. OSF HealthCare offers a comprehensive total rewards package including generous PTO, health, life and retirement plans, CME
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies.
- Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
- Certification by ANCC or NCCPA.
- Minimum of two years of APP experience preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessment and assign diagnoses based on data and current research.
- Establish plan of care and implement interventions according to care paths and standards.
- Provide education and counseling to patients, families and groups.
- Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; no call or weekends.
