Job summary

The PRIDE Program Coordinator (Contract) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign supports the Office of Workforce Development and School of Social Work. This Civil Service position requires program leadership, project management, and trainer supervision, with liaison duties to DCFS and partner agencies.

Hybrid work options may be available; statewide travel is expected. A Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience are required, with Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; three (3) years in education, training and/or work experience in child welfare and/or foster care. Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience. Project management experience. Training experience.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, proficiency with technology, LMS familiarity, and experience with Power BI and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the PRIDE Program Administrator to support program goals, ensure high-quality service delivery, and maintain program integrity.
• Oversee projects, manage continuous quality improvement activities, and support core program operations.
• Supervise trainers and support staff; liaise with DCFS and private child welfare agencies; provide program leadership in the administrator’s absence.
• Coordinate collaboration with workforce development programs, DCFS vendors, and curriculum designers; ensure trainer diversity in curriculum workgroups.
• Provide LMS navigation support and data reporting, monitor attendance, and assist with trainer billing and staff time tracking.
• Travel statewide may be required.
