Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked with a wide range of food and grocery products. You will move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and maintain a clean, organized store environment. Overnight shifts help prepare the store for each day and require friendly customer interactions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, following procedures, and providing excellent service to customers in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll:

Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products

Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately

Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas

Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed

Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead

Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
