Cinemark in Plano, TX is seeking a Pricing Decision Scientist to develop, analyze, and optimize pricing strategies across admissions, concessions, merchandise, and promotions. You will translate business challenges into data-driven recommendations and scalable pricing solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, 3+ years in pricing or analytics, and proficiency with SQL, Excel, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative field; Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, business analytics, finance, consulting, or related analytical role.
• Proven ability to solve complex business problems and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience supporting pricing strategy, promotional analysis, revenue optimization, or customer analytics initiatives preferred.
• Working knowledge of Python, R, or other analytical programming languages.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable business insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Curious, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to drive pricing, promotions, and revenue optimization initiatives.
• Develop data-driven pricing recommendations by evaluating pricing strategies, promotions, and business performance.
• Design and run experiments, A/B tests, and causal measurement frameworks to quantify pricing impact.
• Analyze customer, financial, operational, and market data to identify revenue growth opportunities and business insights.
• Build pricing models, forecasts, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
• Develop customer segmentation, elasticity analyses, and performance measurement frameworks to inform pricing decisions.
• Conduct competitive pricing and market analyses to support strategic recommendations.
• Support pricing implementation, validation, and ongoing performance monitoring across channels and systems.
• Communicate analytical findings, strategic recommendations, and business impact to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, process optimization, and enhancement of pricing methodologies and reporting tools.
