Job summary

Hancock Whitney in New Orleans is seeking a senior product manager to guide the strategy, pricing and profitability of retail, wealth, and small business product lines. You will coordinate across Marketing, Sales, Compliance, Operations and IT to ensure products meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years in bank product management or related fields, strong collaboration and governance skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Business discipline from an accredited university and/or equivalent experience required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of prior banking experience or Bank Product Management or related Project Management.
• Knowledge in regulations governing bank products, marketing strategy development, and bank’s operating systems.
• Demonstrated financial management skills with ability to perform analysis that deliver incremental value through support of product, pricing, and marketing initiatives.
• Proven collaboration, influencing, and consensus building skills that support leading, managing, and working collaboratively with peers and executive management.

Responsibilities

• Manage product and pricing strategies in alignment with near and long term objectives.
• Support projects such as new product launches and pricing strategies.
• Support development of business cases and navigate governance forums.
• Enhance product profitability, margins through pricing optimization and risk mitigation.
• Interpret and forecast key business drivers based on evaluation of product and pricing variables.
• Act as SME on product, pricing and risk across departments (Marketing, Sales, Compliance, IT, Finance).
