Job summary

Trace3 is building a centralized Pricing Operations function focused on improving deal-level margin performance, enabling smarter pricing decisions, and creating a better seller experience. The Pricing Analyst will review deals, analyze pricing and profitability data, and provide recommendations to help sellers build competitive and profitable customer solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in pricing, deal desk, sales operations, commercial finance, revenue operations, financial analysis, or a related analytical discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze pricing, profitability, discounting, cost structures, margin performance, or commercial transactions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Understanding of gross profit, margins, pricing strategy, discounting practices, rebates, incentives, and overall deal economics.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing analysis, commercial recommendations, and deal guidance to improve competitiveness and profitability.
• Review business data, historical transactions, pricing exceptions, and deal outcomes to identify margin opportunities and performance trends.
• Support complex or non-standard opportunities by evaluating options and partnering with stakeholders to inform decisions.
• Translate analysis into actionable recommendations, leadership reporting, and business reviews.
• Promote adoption of pricing tools, processes, and best practices across the sales organization.
• Document outcomes and key learnings to improve pricing consistency and effectiveness.
