Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a Strategic Pricing Analyst to own contract (RFP) pricing and network analyses for strategic shippers. You will collaborate across sales, account management, product and data science to develop a cohesive pricing solution.

The role requires an analytical mindset to draw insights from market and historical data, translate them into actionable plans, and deliver data-driven pricing proposals and executive presentations to align stakeholders during negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Strong Excel/Sheets and data management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Minimum two years of pricing, analytics or related experience.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide data‑driven pricing proposals to internal stakeholders based on account profitability goals, industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Demonstrate the ability to provide analytical insights and partner with appropriate stakeholders to pursue growth opportunities and address areas of improvement.
• Develop executive‑level presentations that gain alignment on pricing analysis and display strategic rationale behind potential financial impact.
• Deliver customized pricing strategies to shippers during negotiation processes.
• Perform ongoing assessment of financial impact of pricing forecast versus the actual results.
• Provide insights to the business through analysis of competitive pricing, packaging or bundling strategies and customer buying patterns.
• Develop, maintain and ensure accuracy of pricing data inventory used for analysis and contract execution.
