Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a Strategic Pricing Analyst to own contract pricing and network analyses for strategic shippers, collaborating with sales, account management, product and data science to align pricing strategy.

You will translate market and historical data into actionable plans, deliver data-driven pricing proposals, and develop executive presentations that secure alignment and drive revenue.

This role is based in Illinois with a target salary of $75,000–$90,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional Excel (or Google Sheets) and data management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Minimum two years of pricing, analytics, consulting, data science, business intelligence, supply chain or related experience.
• Experience working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide data-driven pricing proposals to internal stakeholders based on profitability goals, industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Demonstrate ability to provide analytical insights and partner with stakeholders to pursue growth opportunities and address improvements.
• Develop executive-level presentations that align pricing analysis with strategic rationale and financial impact.
• Deliver customized pricing strategies to shippers during negotiations.
• Perform ongoing assessment of pricing forecast vs. actual results.
• Provide insights to the business through analysis of competitive pricing, packaging or bundling strategies and customer buying patterns.
• Develop and maintain pricing data inventory used for analysis and contract execution.
