Job summary

Kroger in Commerce City, CO is seeking a Store Clerk to maintain pricing documentation accuracy and uphold the company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

You will perform scanning, stocking, and housekeeping duties, support store operations, and assist customers and associates. This on-site role offers flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials.
• Available to perform stock clerk and customer service duties as scheduled.
• Dependable and of high integrity.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Check in and test scan all vendors.
• Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file.
• Keep computer room clean and maintain UPS and power backup readiness.
• Copy PLU file twice a week.
• Maintain documentation on all retail accounting.
• Test scan entire store every 6–8 weeks.
• Maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielsen, Sami, Special Item Movement Report).
• Perform duties as assigned by store manager and scanning supervisors.
• Adhere to policies on dress code, grooming, sanitation, and harassment/discrimination.
• Be flexible to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
