Job summary

King Soopers in Centennial, CO is seeking a Store Clerk to maintain pricing accuracy and assist customers. Responsibilities include vendor check-in, weekly ad maintenance, and store-wide scanning tests. You will support computer room housekeeping and document retail accounting activities.

Qualifications

• Prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, bulletins, etc.
• Available for stock clerk and customer service duties as scheduled.
• Past work record shows dependability and integrity.
• Knowledge of employment laws and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Check in and test scan all vendors.
• Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file.
• Perform housekeeping in computer room and run power fail simulations.
• Copy PLU file twice a week.
• Maintain documentation on all retail accounting.
• Test scan store every 6–8 weeks.
• Maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielsen, Sami, Special Item Movement).
• Perform other duties as assigned by store manager and scanning supervisors.
• Follow dress code, grooming, sanitation, and harassment policies.
• Be flexible to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
