Job summary

Columbia Distributing seeks a Pricing Specialist to manage supplier pricing calendars and adjust pricing structures per management and supplier agreements. This full-time role is based in Anchorage, Alaska, with local travel as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and ideally 2+ years in pricing or accounting, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years pricing and/or accounting experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills for managing pricing data.
• Proficient in MS Office; VIP and Cognos experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize and enter pricing data; analyze cost components and discrepancies.
• Deliver approved pricing to departments for retail and catalog submittals.
• Track FOB, frontline and post pricing changes; notify purchasers and sales teams.
• Maintain and create new product files and related paperwork.
• Review invoice pricing variances and month-end depletion billbacks to suppliers.
• Collaborate with Pricing Analyst to identify unprofitable products/programs and propose solutions.
• Foster positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with coworkers and managers.
