Job summary

Columbia Distributing seeks a Category Demand Analyst in Anchroage, AK to drive category attributes, support demand planning, and maintain KPI dashboards. You will partner with the Procurement Manager to enable process improvements through actionable data and weekly reports shared with stakeholders and suppliers.

The role requires strong data analysis, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a passion for continuous learning and leadership.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver results in a high growth organization during ambiguity.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Purchasing alignment experience or understanding of procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly expense analysis and categorize costs.
• Research categories to map supplier base and capabilities.
• Lead quarterly reviews with strategic suppliers for improvements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, finance, purchasing and operations to align demand.
• Become the go-to expert for the Columbia Distributing sourcing tool.
• Educate business partners on ordering timelines from order to warehouse delivery.
