Job summary

Graybar in Missouri is seeking a Pricing Specialist to maximize profitability of cost recovery through implementation, training, and analysis. You will support sales teams and manage rebates and chargebacks, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

The role requires at least one year in administration or accounting, a two-year degree preferred, and familiarity with SAP, Excel, and cost data. You will work with cross-functional teams and may travel.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in administration, accounting, or customer service required
• 2 year degree preferred
• Knowledge of order entry, sales orders, debit/credit memos, purchasing, customer master, and payables t-codes
• Ability to download reports from SAP to Excel or other formats as needed
• Oral and written communication skills
• Organizational, data entry and mathematical skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
• Ability to exercise initiative and problem-solving and data-based decision making
• Some travel required

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain chargeback agreements (sales deals) accurately and timely
• Monitor and resolve EDI and non-EDI supplier rebate chargebacks through the reconciliation process; coordinate with District Pricing Coordinator
• Assist Sales Representatives, district/branch management to identify and resolve rebate issues; prepare monthly summaries of unsettled rebate claims
• Utilize knowledge of ZGMR and ZCPI t-codes for profitability reviews; liaise with Price and Cost Services on data and cost issues
• Prepare reports and perform miscellaneous tasks

As a Pricing Specialist, you will maximize the profitability and effectiveness of the Company's cost recovery process within the district or specified area through implementation, training, and analysis.

In This Role You Will

• Create and maintain chargeback agreements (sales deals) in an accurate and timely manner
• Monitor and resolve Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and non-EDI supplier rebate chargebacks through the reconciliation process within established time requirements; communicate with District Pricing Coordinator to coordinate rebate and pricing strategies
• Provide assistance to the Company's Sales Representatives, district and/or branch management to identify and resolve rebate issues; prepare monthly summaries of unsettled rebate claims as required by the Director Operations
• Utilize working knowledge of ZGMR and ZCPI t-codes for the purpose or reviewing profitability; communicate with Price and Cost Services regarding material master data and cost issues having an effect on cost recovery
• Reports and miscellaneous tasks

What You Bring To The Table

• Minimum 1 year experience in administration, accounting, or customer service related area required
• 2 year degree preferred

Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, standard business hours.

Compensation Details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $19.50 per hour, depending on experience.
