Job summary

Arrow seeks a detail‑oriented professional to analyze market trends and supplier performance. You will develop strategic quotes, support negotiation activities, and coordinate with segment managers and product specialists to align pricing strategies with business goals.

The role requires strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables), experience with government drawings and BOMs, and ITAR/export license eligibility. Travel to Arrow offices may be requested.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in aerospace/defense industry with government drawings experience.
• Proficient in Excel including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Export license eligibility and ITAR compliance.
• 4-year degree and 5+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel to Arrow office locations as requested by Arrow leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing data to support quoting strategy.
• Coordinate with segment managers, product specialists, and sales management for feedback.
• Monitor and report supplier price performance by segment and supplier.
• Prepare negotiation materials and assist in the negotiation process.
• Collaborate with technology managers to establish negotiation strategy.
• Develop strategic customer quotes and related supplier strategies.
• Facilitate communication with suppliers regarding customer priorities.
• Track market-price performance metrics and report insights.

Job description

• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, internal developments, and objectives to support Arrow’s adder and quoting strategy
• Facilitate interaction and feedback from segment managers, product specialists, and sales management
• Monitor, measure, and report supplier market price performance
• Prepare negotiation material and support the negotiation process
• Work with technology business managers and product specialists to establish negotiation strategy
• Develop strategic customer quotes and associated supplier strategies
• Facilitate communication with suppliers regarding customer and quote priority
• Monitor, measure, and report market-price performance metrics by segment, supplier, and selling company

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience in own discipline
• Strong Excel experience, including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables
• Experience in the aerospace and defense industry
• Experience working with government drawings
• Experience working with BOM
• Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
• Must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person under ITAR
• Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership
