Job summary

Canary Technologies seeks a Pricing & Packaging Manager to own pricing and packaging for its hotel-management products. This high-visibility role blends analysis and strategy within the Product Marketing team, crafting models, running benchmarks, and delivering pricing narratives.

You will partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Account Management to shape go-to-market strategies and drive revenue from new logos and expansion with existing customers.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of experience with at least 3 years focused on pricing strategy, packaging, and monetization.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Propensity for developing a hypothesis, testing it, and building a strategy based on results.
• Ability to gather qualitative insights from frontline teams and customers to inform pricing recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Pricing Architecture: Own and maintain pricing strategy across the full product portfolio; define models and price points informed by benchmarks.
• Packaging Strategy: Design and evolve product packaging, tiers, add-ons, and platform plays to drive acquisition and expansion.
• Competitive and Market Intelligence: Build a current read on competitor pricing and packaging; conduct willingness-to-pay research.
• Financial Modeling and Impact Analysis: Build revenue impact projections, scenario analysis, and post-change measurement.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Align with product, sales, marketing, finance, and account management on pricing decisions.
• Internal Narrative and Enablement: Create frameworks, one-pagers, and training materials for sales on pricing.
