Job summary

The Coast Guard Community Services Command seeks a Pricing Specialist at its Chesapeake, VA headquarters. The role supports Buyers by analyzing sales trends, implementing pricing strategies and maximizing profitability for a defined area of business.

You will work under supervision, use Microsoft Office and Excel, collaborate with vendors and internal teams, and handle routine and non-routine issues with sound judgment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years general merchandising or administrative experience, or an Associate’s degree.
• Experience in Microsoft Office with basic Excel experience.
• Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Buyers to maximize sales and profitability through strategy and analysis.
• Operate under supervision and use independent judgment within policy.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal/external colleagues.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
