Assists Buyer/Associate Buyer or Assistant Buyer to maximize sales and profitability of a given area of business through the implementation of a strategy, analysis, and appropriate reaction to sales trends.
Works under the general supervision of the Buyer/Associate Buyer or Assistant Buyer. Operates independently within the framework of CSC/CGX policies, procedures, and regulations. Exercises independent judgment and approach in routine and non-routine situations. Consults with supervisor on such issues as policy matters, deviations from normal procedures, or unusual situations. Maintains professionalism and courteous behavior at all times, works as a team player, and provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Performance is evaluated on operational performance, skills evaluations, customer service, collaboration and teamwork, leadership, and established individual performance objectives.
Maintains collaborative partnerships with vendors, internal and external colleagues.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
