Job summary

The U.S. Coast Guard Community Services Command in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Pricing Specialist to support purchasing and merchandising initiatives at the CSC HQ. This role emphasizes pricing strategy, sales analysis, and collaboration with Buyers to maximize profitability and customer service.

You will work under supervision within CSC/CGX policies, exercising judgment on routine and non-routine issues, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to respond to market trends.

Qualifications

• 1. High school diploma or GED.
• 2. Two years general experience in merchandising, administration or an Associate’s degree.
• 3. Experience in Microsoft Office with basic Excel experience.
• 4. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Buyer/Associate Buyer to maximize sales and profitability through strategy and analysis.
• Work under supervision within CSC/CGX policies; exercise independent judgment.
