Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. in Laurel, MD seeks a pricing professional to review customer pricing, markets, and margins for growth.

You will oversee CMU and Local contract bids, analyze profitability, and coordinate with purchasing and sales to ensure compliant, profitable pricing. The role starts with onsite onboarding at a sister facility in Minnesota, with travel covered, then returns to Laurel for hybrid work: three days onsite, two days remote.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years pricing or related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall pricing strategy at the item level and review accuracy ongoing.
• Analyze use of earned income to establish proper pricing structure.
• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Review margin reports daily at customer and item level to ensure profitability.
• Review top moving items for margin enhancement and advise purchasing.
• Review markets daily and recommend price changes to bids and costs.
• Review all bids for correct pricing, including suitability, gross profit, and case movement.
• Other duties as outlined by management.
