Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Pricing Manager to join our North American Contract Logistics team. You will lead pricing strategies for new and existing business, partnering with Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and IT to drive growth and profitability.

In this fast-paced logistics environment, you will develop financial models, analyze ROI and cash flow, and build dashboards to support pricing decisions. Strong Excel and Power BI skills are essential, with MBA a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in pricing analytics, financial analysis, or a similar analytical business function.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience developing pricing strategies, business cases, and profitability analyses.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Experience using Power BI and other analytical tools to evaluate and communicate business performance.
• Logistics, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain industry experience is preferred.
• MBA or advanced business degree is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage pricing models to support new business opportunities and existing customer relationships.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, IT, and Finance teams to create competitive pricing strategies.
• Lead and facilitate pricing reviews and decision-making discussions.
• Analyze financial and operational data to evaluate ROI, NPV, cash flow, payback periods, and other key metrics.
• Assess customer-provided data and market trends to develop pricing recommendations.
• Build reports, tools, and dashboards that support business planning, forecasting, and pricing decisions.
• Monitor pricing performance and profitability outcomes while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support annual budgeting processes and pricing strategies, including surcharge and market-based initiatives.
