Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Price Book Manager to oversee pricing strategy and inventory across our convenient stores in Bettendorf, IA.

You will maintain accurate price books, implement promotional pricing, and ensure changes are reflected in the POS and other systems. In this role you will collaborate with the Divisional Manager to set pricing strategies, conduct regular audits, monitor inventory levels, and communicate updates to store staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or retail management experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in retail pricing, inventory management, or similar roles.
• Proficient with point-of-sale (POS) systems and spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the store’s price book, ensuring all prices are accurate and reflect adjustments.
• Update pricing regularly in the store’s POS system, ensuring timely implementation.
• Collaborate with the Divisional Manager to set pricing strategies, including promotions.
• Conduct regular price audits to ensure pricing accuracy across displays.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust prices based on stock, cost changes or market conditions.
• Communicate pricing changes to store staff for effective customer service.
• Implement and manage pricing for seasonal products, new arrivals, and clearance items.
• Review competitor pricing to stay competitive and adjust prices as needed.
• Assist with store promotions and sales events to align pricing with promotions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pricing discrepancies raised by staff or customers.
• Generate reports on pricing, sales trends, and inventory performance.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal pricing regulations.
• Train staff on pricing accuracy and handling pricing-related issues at POS.
