Job summary

The Pricebook Specialist at Carson will manage and maintain the company pricebook for multiple retail stores, ensuring accurate pricing and data integrity across products and services.

You will analyze market trends, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to develop pricing strategies, and support the pricing function to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Travel may be required to stores and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in pricing, finance, or a related analytical role is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
• Proficient in using pricing tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on data analysis.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, market trends, and competitive dynamics is a plus.
• Travel as needed to meetings, stores, trade shows, conferences, trainings, and other events or situations that may require on-site presence.
• Background in gas stations and convenience stores, or other retail environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update the pricebook system for our retail stores.
• Ensure accurate and consistent pricing across all products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Regularly review and update pricing structures based on internal and external factors, considering both customer expectations and business profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to gather pricing information and ensure alignment with our customer-centric approach.
• Will work with and coordinate retail store managers, territory managers and GM.
• Communicate with vendors, retail store managers, and team members to maintain effective operations and billing.
