One Park Financial seeks a Lead Engineer to own and evolve the Python pricing engine that prices new business and renewals in real time. You will be the primary technical owner, building new capabilities, ensuring reliability, and guiding one or more engineers who support the system.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional Python development, including production applications and services.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers and directing a small team.
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask, or similar).
• Hands-on AWS experience with ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, SQS, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch.
• Strong SQL and comfort with relational/NoSQL data and reference files (CSV/Parquet).
• Familiarity with data modeling and validation frameworks (e.g., Pydantic).
• Experience integrating ML/analytic model outputs into production systems and collaborating with Data Science.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary technical owner of the Python-based pricing and decision engine on AWS.
• Lead and mentor engineers; set architecture, coding and review standards.
• Own end-to-end pricing logic and ensure correctness before deployment.
• Design, run, and analyze A/B tests for pricing strategies.
• Integrate with sales platform, CRM, and external data providers.
• Maintain data correctness in DynamoDB and S3; build QA and reconciliation checks.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Data Engineering, Data Science, and QA.
• Develop analytics platform expansion (ML model deployment, dashboards, data products).
• Communicate system behavior clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
