Job summary

One Park Financial is seeking a Lead Engineer to own and evolve the Python pricing engine that prices every new business and renewal offer. You will lead engineers, set technical direction, and ensure accuracy before deployment, collaborating with Product, DevOps, Data Engineering, Data Science, and QA.

You will drive the integration of ML models into production, build analytics capabilities, and ensure data quality across DynamoDB and S3.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Python development, including production applications.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers and setting standards.
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask).
• Hands-on AWS experience operating production services (ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, SQS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch).
• Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM tooling and integrating models into production.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical owner of a Python-based pricing and decision engine on AWS.
• Lead engineers, define architecture, and set code standards for pricing systems.
• Own end-to-end pricing logic and data quality checks in production.
• Design and run A/B tests to measure pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Data Engineering, Data Science, and QA.
• Integrate ML model outputs into production pricing workflows.
• Maintain reliability and observability with dashboards and incident response.
• Communicate system behavior clearly to stakeholders.
