MoonPay in New York, NY, is looking for a Staff Pricing Data Scientist to shape partner pricing for on-ramp, off-ramp, and multi-product bundles. You will set pricing, build AI-powered tools, and partner with Finance and Product to ensure competitive, contract-aligned terms.

The role blends analytics, strategy, and hands-on tool development. Ideal candidates have strong pricing experience in fintech, ability to influence senior stakeholders, and a track record of delivering scalable pricing

Qualifications

• Deep experience in pricing, monetization, or commercial analytics.
• Strong SQL and Python, comfortable with large transactional datasets.
• Experience designing pricing structures such as tiering and bundling.
• AI fluency: building internal tools with AI assistance.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and explain pricing logic clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing strategy for products and bundles.
• Make partner pricing changes within guardrails and document rationale.
• Review pricing using partner-level data to maximize revenue and deals.
• Build AI-powered pricing tools, calculators, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, Compliance, and Legal for alignment.
• Create clear frameworks to reduce pricing escalations and guide teams.
