Job summary

iHerb is seeking a Pricing Data Scientist to own end-to-end pricing analytics and measurement in close partnership with the Pricing organization. The role focuses on practical, decision-driven work including elasticity assessment, promotion analysis, and executive-ready insights that influence senior leaders.

The candidate will develop and deploy pricing models, design test measurement approaches, and translate complex outputs into clear actions for pricing leadership and executives.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative foundation with data-driven decision making.
• Experience building end-to-end data science models for pricing/promotions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end pricing analytics, modeling and measurement with pricing org.
• Develop and maintain pricing models (elasticity, incrementality, sensitivity tiers).
• Design measurement approaches for pricing tests and promotions (A/B, quasi-experimental).
• Lead competitive pricing analytics and validate external price data.
• Translate outputs into actionable insights for pricing leadership and executives.
• Collaborate with BI Analytics and Data Engineering on datasets and reusable outputs.
• Develop workflows using SQL and Python for end-to-end analysis.
• Help develop pricing dashboards and recurring analytical outputs.
• Refine pricing measurement frameworks to balance speed and accuracy in a global environment.
