Job summary

Georgia Power in Atlanta, GA seeks a Pricing Data Analyst to join the Pricing & Rates team. You will analyze pricing data, develop reports, and visualize results to support rate strategies and regulatory objectives. In-office presence is required four days a week at 241 Ralph McGill Blvd, Atlanta, GA.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, collaboration across teams, and deployment of tools to enhance pricing decisions and customer value.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree (required) in technical, analytical, business, engineering, economics, statistics, computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Advanced degree and/or certifications a plus but not required.
• Experience with databases/data lakes and programming/query languages (SQL/SAS/Python/R).
• Experience with large datasets, data visualization tools, and analytical reporting.
• Utility/energy market experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support pricing and rates data analysis and visualization.
• Design and execute experiments to study pricing vs. customer behavior where feasible.
• Provide data to external requestors including PSC, consultants, and customers.
• Interface with internal data teams to advance pricing design principles.
• Leverage new data/tools to automate processes and improve efficiency.
